With only one week to go, the four NEP groups are drawing near to their common destination in Indianapolis.
The Marian Route of the pilgrimage began in May in northern Minnesota.
The four pilgrimage groups — currently in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Nebraska — will converge in Indianapolis on July 16 in time for the National Eucharistic Congress from July 17–21.
The congress was the prelude to the start of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage’s Marian Route, which begins with Pentecost Sunday Mass and culminates at the national congress in Indianapolis.
Pilgrims will walk over 6,500 miles and will traverse four different routes, beginning on opposite sides of the country and meeting in Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress July 17–21.
