Despite recent revelations about warning signs the diocese and its seminary allegedly ignored regarding the priest’s misconduct, the diocese told the Register its procedures are adequate.
COMMENTARY: Bishops and dioceses must answer the phone calls of victims, meet with them, hear their stories and empathize with them. That is not too much to ask.
COMMENTARY: Bishops need to make themselves daily guests in the living rooms (or prayer spaces) of their flock.
COMMENTARY: A Catholic campus should offer truth scientifically, psychologically, sociologically and theologically.
COMMENTARY: There is a segment of Catholicism that is virtually immovable in their commitment to the faith.

COMMENTARY: There is a synergy among these institutes that may unfortunately change should any one of them take on a ‘different direction.’
COMMENTARY: We must be those who stand up for God and his Church and let no one drive us away from that without which we cannot live and breathe.
