COMMENTARY: The erosion of our understanding of biological sex is a result of straying from the teachings of the ancient Faith regarding the representation of the relationship between Christ and the Church in the two sexes.
The organization alleges that the state’s prohibition on minors with gender dysphoria receiving drugs and surgeries violates several parts of the Ohio Constitution.
The petition calls on Loyola Marymount to stop promoting gender ideology and to renew its “institutional commitment to Roman Catholicism.”
In June 2020, the Trump administration finalized a rule removing the expansive definition of “sex” from section 1557 and requiring that non-discrimination protections be interpreted in line with First Amendment freedoms.
Advocates of the bill argued that it is impossible to completely change a person’s biological sex, and that this reality should be reflected in the civil registry.
