The USCCB praised the decision on Tuesday.
The USCCB praised the decision on Tuesday.
The court’s order means that houses of worship in D.C. are allowed to admit as many people inside as they can, in line with other public health regulations such as social-distancing.
The laws include a ban on abortions based solely on the sex of the baby, and two regulations on the preservation and disposal of tissue from aborted babies, as well as legislation prohibiting a second-trimester abortion method.
The high court’s 7-1 decision March 3 conflicts with a federal judge’s ruling last month.
