The Holy See Press Office said that the papal almoner, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, traveled to Borodianka, a town around 30 miles northwest of the capital of Kyiv.
Cardinal Krajewski said that he had even received donations from people within the Vatican whom he hadn’t approached, among them a group of police.
