As hundreds came out to pray for Pope Francis last night, we invite our readers from around the globe to join us in praying for the Holy Father. 

The Pope’s condition remains serious but has shown “slight improvement” as he continues treatment on his 11th day in Rome’s Gemelli Hospital, the Vatican said Feb. 24. The Pope was admitted to the hospital on Friday, Feb. 14, to undergo testing and treatment for what was eventually diagnosed as double pneumonia. 

As he remains hospitalized, the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word offer more prayers to pray for the Holy Father.

Our Lady, Undoer of Knots is a favorite Marian devotion of Pope Francis.

Pope Francis has been devoted to you, and you have answered so many requests of your children under this title. 

With that same confidence, we pray that you undo the knots of his illness at this time and ask your Son, Jesus, to restore him to health. 

Not our will but God’s will be done.

In your gentle providence, you have continued to guide your flock, the Church on earth, through the ministry of Pope Francis.

He has reminded the Church of her duty to remain close to the poor and the marginalized, especially those who are suffering from illness.

We ask that you watch over him and protect him, have mercy on him and grant him healing according to your holy will.

Strengthen him in his weakness and assure him of the prayers of Catholics throughout the world who are accompanying him in this difficult time.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Look with compassion upon the man chosen to guide your Flock here on Earth,  Pope Francis.  

Restore him to physical health and strengthen his spirit. 

Provide him with what he needs and those who care for him at this time.
